The main goal of survey data processing is to provide homogenous starting material for further modeling. To save time, often multiple different devices are used for scanning a large or complex objects. Thus, data obtained from different scanners may vary. Thanks to appropriate algorithms the data is standardized.

Apart from mechanical work itself, while modeling it is also important to define the purpose and scope of the processed object or construction. It allows determining for example elements which are indispensable from the point of view of a Customer, and which should be present in the final model.

A standard product which is obtained in the course of data processing is a 3D model in an electronic version – files with dgn, dwg, dxf (CAD) extensions. Regardless of the level of project complexity the final effect meets accuracy requirements, if only the obtained data allows for it.
